I’ve been dealing with a whole bunch of hosting issues and work issues and lack of time for personal projects, which caused me to give up on my photoblog for a while That being said, I updated my A Graphic Description photoblog today. March 19th, 2012.

christmasgorilla: Last week, I turned 30—and had a most surreal birthday. I was sailing in the British Virgin Islands with a bunch of people I love and we went to visit Richard Branson on Necker Island. He was more hospitable than I could have imagined and after lunch challenged our party to a Hobie Cat race—of course he recruited all the women to his boat—I was the captain of the opposing vessel. He knew his home waters and ended up four boat lengths ahead as David, Jonathan, and I figured out the boat. We came damn near seizing victory at the end with a very bold move cutting between some corral reefs and having to pull the rudders to avoid disturbing them. The day ended in an infinity pool with champagne looking over a flock of pink flamingos in paradise while we talked about my current project, Kitchensurfing. deleteyourself: Twitter has reached such a volume of tweets that eventually everything that could possibly be tweeted, will be tweeted. I happened to notice the other day that someone tweets the exact time nearly every second. It got me thinking that you could make a clock out of these tweets, so I put together a simple site called Chirp Clock. It’s interesting to watch it for a while and start to see the patterns that emerge. A lot of people will tweet their exact birth time, or a bus system will tweet their arrival time. I’ve seen some muslim call to prayers and a lot of people angrily tweeting that they have to head to work. Check out Chirp Clock and let me know what you think! http://chirpclock.com
